Martin Zizlsperger receives Maiman Student Paper Award

Doctoral student of the RUN awarded international recognition for his scientific results in photonics.

Martin Zizlsperger, member of the RUN, has presented the newest results on ultrafast nansocopy on two-dimensional materials at the international Conference on Light and Electro Optics in San Jose (California, USA). For his presentation and outstanding results, he has been awarded the “Maiman Student Paper Award” of Optica. Optica is the largest society for optics and photonics. The Maiman Student Paper Award is one of the highest recognitions for doctoral students in the field of photonics and includes a personal prize money of 3000 USD.
